Often described as one of the greatest novels ever written and ranked 1st as Guardian's best novel, Middlemarch is a rich classic that explores love, ambition, marriage, politics, friendship and life in a changing society.

It's also... rather long! 880 pages, in fact!

We know many of you enjoy planning your reading well in advance, so we wanted to announce this one early. So you've now got plenty to get ahead with this one.

We'll be discussing Middlemarch together in March 2027 and we can't wait to hear your thoughts on this literary masterpiece.
